About

Javier Carriedo was born and raised in Miami, Florida where he attended Doral Academy. Upon graduating, Mr. Carriedo attended Florida International University and received his Bachelor’s in Communication Arts. After obtaining his Bachelor’s, Mr. Carriedo worked in banking for four years before returning to Florida International University to obtain his Juris Doctor from the Florida International University College of Law. While in law school, Mr. Carriedo was a Certified Legal Intern/Student Attorney for the Small Business Legal Clinic. Additionally, Mr. Carriedo joined the Florida International University College of Law Negotiation & Mediation Team where he competed in multiple competitions and served as the Vice President of Communications.

Mr. Carriedo’s practice focuses on first-party property insurance litigation where he represents homeowners in disputes with insurance companies. In his off-time, Mr. Carriedo enjoys cooking and spending time with friends and family.
