Nicolle Barrantes was born and raised in Miami, Florida where she attended Gulliver Preparatory. Upon graduating, Mrs. Barrantes attended the University of Miami and received her bachelor’s in political science, focusing on the U.S. Relations with the Middle East and Africa. Mrs. Barrantes spent her time interning at law firms during the summer and learning the about the legal field. Her internships solidified her interest in the law and becoming an attorney. Right after graduating the University of Miami and receiving her bachelor’s degree, Mrs. Barrantes attended the University of Miami School of Law and graduated in 2016. While in law school, Mrs. Barrantes was a student legal intern at the University of Miami’s Investor Rights Clinic where she helped investors recover lost money from scheming brokers. Additionally during law school, Mrs. Barrantes worked with in house counsel, at a national, publicly traded health care company where she worked on structuring and closing M&A deals. Mrs. Barrantes continued to work in M&A as staff counsel until joining The Property Advocates, P.A. in 2019.
Mrs. Barrantes’ practice focuses on first-party property insurance litigation where she represents homeowners in disputes with insurance companies. Mrs. Barrantes also holds her real estate license and is a licensed realtor in the state of Florida. Mrs. Barrantes enjoys spending time with friends and family as well as volunteering at the local animal shelter.
