George Zeckler was raised in Central Florida. He lived there until 1998 when he left to serve in the United States Army. Upon completion of a distinguished military career, George returned to Florida to attend law school and practice law. He currently represents policyholders out of The Property Advocates’ Orlando office, focusing on first-party property insurance litigation.
George earned his Juris Doctorate from the Florida International University College of Law. He graduated Summa Cum Laude with a class ranking of number three. During law school, George was a member of the FIU Law Review; a Summer Judicial Intern for the Honorable Kevin Emas of Florida’s Third District Court of Appeal; and a Research Assistant for the school’s Constitutional Law Professor. George earned the CALI Excellence Award in five courses: Property; Evidence; Immigration; Business Organizations; and Law & Procedure, U.S. & Florida.
In addition to his law degree, George holds a Master of Health Administration from Baylor University; a Master of Science in Clinical Psychology from the Uniformed Sciences University of the Health Sciences; a Master of Arts in Management and Leadership from Webster University; and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Florida Southern College. George is certified as a Project Management Professional by the Project Management Institute and was a Fellow with the American College of Healthcare Executives.
George served as an Army Medical Service Corps Officer for over 17 years with a specialty in Hospital Administration. His duty positions included Medical Platoon Leader; Medical Company Commander; Operations Officer, Combat Support Hospital (deployed to Iraq); and Director of Clinical Operations at multiple U.S. Army Hospitals. George received numerous commendations and awards while serving in various locations across the United States and overseas.
George brings passion, dedication, and commitment to excellence to his second career as an attorney. He is licensed to practice in all Florida state courts and the United States District Courts for the Middle and Southern Districts of Florida.
